Shani Maha Mantra Japa (The following mantras need to be recited 19000 times to install Shani Bhagwan in the Yantra for day-to-day worship. )

Why Shani Japa?
Shani – Ayul Karagan, transit to Makara, Its house. The athipathi of Makara is Shani bhagwan.
Very bad: Shani in 1st (Makara), 2nd (Dhanusu), 4th (Thula), 7th (Kataka), 8th (Mithuna) and 12th (Kumbha);.
Average : Shani in 5th (Kanni), 9th (Rishaba) and 10th (Mesha)
Very Good: Shani in 3rd (Viruchika), 6th (Simha) and 11th (Meena) are excellant.

Shani Yantra. Yantra without mantra is useless. It is like a blank CD. Only recorded CD is of any use. Like the only yantras powered with mantras are effective. By reciting Shani Mantras actually we install Shani Bhagwan in the yantra for daily prayers. It is of much use to those who are not able to go to temple to worship Shani Bhagwan in the temple. .

What is Yantra: As per hindu shastra, the mantras and its vibration cannot be preserve for many hours/days without an instrument made up of Gold/silver/Copper/Bronze. So we use God in idols/yantra form to preserve the mantra vibration forever by proper maintainance. Here we use copper yantras while doing these 40000 japas.
Yantras which is powered (recited) with proper mantra is God itself. We Install the god/goddess in their respective Yantra with the proper mantra. In the temple, actually the power is rested in the Yantras placed in the Karba-graha (sanctum sanctorum). As everyone cannot go and see the yantras, an idol is placed on top of the Yantra to denote the place of Yantra. We can change the idol if it is broken as long as the yantra is kept properly.
Size and usage of the Yantraa: Size is 3” x 3” and made up of Copper. Both need to be carried and can be kept in the wallet (purse). (Picture – Size of the Yantras given at the bottom of this page)
Package and how to use : As yantras has to be kept wrapped in Silk cloth, this Yantra is in a Black colour Pure Silk cloth
Kindly keep it in pooja place. . Please do not carry the yantra in inauspicious occasions. If situation arises where you had been to a inauspicious place, dont worry. Kindly wash the yantra with milk and water the next day, dry and wrap and keep it in wallet again.
