Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra.

Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra – an ultimate mantra to help us get well soon from diseases and health problems. It also keeps us from injuries and prolong our life (extend our lifespan).

Everyone knows the “Great death-conquering mantra” called  Mahāmṛtyuṃjaya Mantra (महामृत्युंजय मंत्र), which is also called Tryambakam Mantra (taken from Rigveda and also recurs in Yarurveda too). Along with the Gayathri Mantra and Swayamvara Parvathi Mantra, it is one of the most widely known Hindu Veda Mantras

From various sacred sanskrit texts and scholars, We understand that Maha Mritunjaya Mantra is very powerful mantra for health and by chanting 125000 times of Mrityunjaya mantra Japa, we can receive the mantra siddhi with which we can live healthy, ailment and disease free life. It also help us to prolong our life (longevity of lifespan).

During the world heart day on on 26th Sep, 2010, all newspapers brought Heart day Specials. Almost all papers mentioned that Indians are more prone to heart disease than other. In short, they called India as the heart disease capital of the world.


India for long known as “Diabetic Capital of the world”. Its a well known fact that Blood Pressure is high among Indians.

I am starting the Mrityunjaya Mantra Japa (1008 times everyday) with small rudraksha beeds from 17th october 2010 and conclude it in a grand sadhan (Maha Japa) by reciting 10008 japa in a single day (approx. 23 hours) on Shivaratri 2011, which falls on 3rd march 2011 ( totalling 148000 times of Japa.)
